How Much Is Too Much For Skin And Hair?

Scroll any social media and you’ll be surprised to know how every second person is worried about hair and skin. The deteriorating quality of skin and hair is palpable. While there is no shortage of specialists and products available in the open market the problem is not getting solved. As humans, our skin and hair add so much to our personality, a kind of confidence sometimes but how to keep it healthy all the time. Do you need so much of products to keep it healthy or better? Perhaps, there is no single rule for all!

I do not endorse using so many products in a day. I believe in using fewer products but it should suit me well. But nothing can help if your vitamin and protein requirements aren’t enough to make it sustainable. So what should one do or follow? It’s not easy to follow every single routine or product or test them out on your skin or hair resulting in severe damage that may be irreparable. It’s important to know how to select products when it comes to their skin or hair. Instagram viral videos won’t be helping out much.

Find The Right Facewash: Washing your face doesn’t look like any special activity but choosing the right product could save your skin and help to maintain balance. Dry skin needs an extra moisturising cleanser to maintain hydration. Choosing organic or chemical-free products helps in the long run. In the past, I’ve tried many brands as your requirements keep changing as per age. Recently, I’ve tried Earth Raga face wash and found it extremely gentle and moisturising.

This particular facewash has a tea tree fragrance which is mostly liked, and also works as a de-stress.

Earthraga: Aloe vera Neem Tea tree face wash cleanser

Also, as the product claims to be with less chemicals I did not get any adverse reactions on my skin. Though all the products I buy for skincare are mostly used by family members and to be very honest all have liked them very much. The cleanser works well on the skin, clears and is non-drying.

I’ve also tried another facewash-activated charcoal which is equally hydrating like teatree. The only difference is that I find this more as a clarifying agent in removing dead cells and making it more clear.

Face Scrubs: One skincare might not suit another. We all are different and we need to check our skin type and then buy products. Recommendations can be generic and with conditions that apply. Like, face scrubs do not suit everyone. Especially sensitive skin might get rashes after face scrubs.

Earthraga: Vitamin C face scrub

Following every single social media post about using sugar, coffee might your skin and can be damaged. And for those who are using shouldn’t use more than twice a week. Earthraga Vitamin C face scrub has some scintillating fragrance and is gentle on the skin. It clears skin and feels fresh. Only after multiple uses, did I get the difference between harsh face scrubs that I had been using for years and gentle face scrubs. Perhaps, a lot of learning comes with the right knowledge:)

And the formula is so soft and gentle on the skin. The texture and consistency are so well made for all skin types.

Hair Care: That is something everyone worrying about. The constant hair fall and thinning is the major problem. But what are the solutions? Even after spending hundreds and thousands of rupees on haircare products nothing could help much. The very reason could be the imbalance in the body which is mostly ignored. B12 and Vitamin D deficiency along with protein could harm your hair health. You might be following every single routine but not able to fix most of these parameters. The external factors could be regular oiling with organic oils or nourishing and using non-sulphate shampoos. I’ve been using conditioner for the last two decades. I never miss and do not want to. A good hair conditioner helps lock moisturiser and helps strength.

After trying my hands on this onion conditioner I realised good conditioners exist, all you need to find them right. Maybe other than not being available on famous websites like Nykaa where you filter your products based on requirements and not choosing by brand names or cruelty-free, dermatologically tested and gentle on hair. I found it nourishing and shining after usage. One thing I’ve strictly followed is never wash your hair without applying oil or a hair mask. it gives natural volume to hair. This onion conditioner can lock moisturiser for a longer time which I always look for and keep it shiny and healthy.

There are so many products in the market. Genuinely you don’t need to buy everything which sells. Filter out based on your budget, requirements and skin type. I also added a lip balm from Earthraga which I found another brilliant product for winters when you look for natural colour balms which should last longer. This is one of those lip balms which do not have any colour, and stay for long. hydrates well and non sticky.
